Apple has announced the launch date for it’s special anniversary edition iPhone 8 on 12th September along with some new phones called iPhone 7s & 7s plus. Along with the phones, a new Apple watch is also in the queue.
The grand launch event will be conducted at Steve Jobs Theatre inside its new campus which is spaceship like designed – in Cupertino, CA. The company has also sent out the invitations to the Media for the event. As the new iPhone 8 is expected to be an unique & big bang in a smartphone era, the event is going to be huge success and it should be.
There has been numerous amount of leaks and speculations since past some time about the specifications of company’s new launch smartphones, and most of them were true, you can expect it to be true this time also. Lets see what are the specs & features of iPhone 8-
The iPhone 8 has some major design changes which are simply awesome. The smartphone will come with bezel less design like the one shown in image. Also the smartphone will have glass on its back also, with metal body. There won’t be any physical ‘Home’ button, yes, you read it right. The iPhone 8 will have virtual ‘Home’ button under the glass cover on the screen.
As far as its fingerprint sensor is concerned, that is reportedly moving to the Apple logo on the back cover, just like the Google Pixel.
Apple has continued to use IPS LCD displays till now, but this time for its special edition, the company is hoping to move on to OLED panel, as most of their competitors are using AMOLED screens like Samsung is using on their flagships Galaxy S8 & Note 8. There have been rumors that the screen size could be as big as 5.8 inches or 5.9 inches. It has also been strongly speculated that the iPhone 8 will come with a screen with 18:9 aspect ratio similar to what is there inside the Galaxy S8 and the LG G6.
